TIFAC (DST, Govt. of India), has launched programme called TREMAP (Technology Refinement and Marketing Planning) to help product innovators to commercialize their innovations through a number of TCFAs (Technology Commercialization Facilitation Agency). MSRSAS is one of the few institutions who has established a TCFA in June – 2009.

Technologies available for Commercialization
1. Novel Fluorescent Reagent for Detecting Finger Prints
A novel, fluorescent spray reagent based on zinc carbonate hydroxide monohydrate, ZnCO3.2Zn (OH)2.H2O – also called basic zinc carbonate – has been formulated. The composition develops clear, sharp and detailed fingerprints on a large number of items, after these have been immersed in water for up to 36 hours and also on dry articles. The present technique fills up this lacuna by offering a convenient, cost-effective and efficient methodology for detecting fingerprints on a broad spectrum of articles, including the multi-colored ones, which have been deliberately or accidentally wetted
Commercial Evaluation: Upfront amount of Rs. 200,000/-
Terms & Conditions: Non Exclusive for a duration of 3 years, royalty of 3% on ex-factory sales.

2. Side View Mirror Protection System
Firstly is being the collision avoidance system of the mirror assembly constantly monitoring the surrounding area for any incoming obstacle reducing the chances of the obstacle to cause damage to the mirror. Secondly being the electronically positioning of the mirror as per driver’s requirement which can be moved in both horizontal and vertical directions.

3. Automatic Cashew Decorticating Machine
The present inventions mainly aim in reducing the production cost, labor, and power consumption etc, at the same time increasing the profit. Moreover the machine has to be safe, low repairing cost, easy maneuverability, ease in installation and transportation. The most important point that is to be noted while using the automated decorticators, there should be least or no damage at all to the so called "Cashew Nut" which is safely enclosed within the raw cashew nut shell.
TCF-MSRSAS is assisting the innovator in Licensing the Patent and has also conducted comprehensive commercial evaluation of the product with business plan.

4. Drop Catcher
This product can be a retrofit for toilets in railway coaches. Flow preventing means comprising at two movable elements adapted to be displaced between an operative open configuration and an operative closed configuration. Displacement of the waste by movement of the carriage. The system is biased to hold the waste in a closed configuration when the carriage is stationary and the waste is released in an open configuration when the carriage is moving at a speed of 40km/hr. The displacement system preventing the dropping of waste is pivotally mounted on the operative bottom end of the drain pipe of the toilet.
TCF-MSRSAS is assisting the innovator in Licensing the Patent and has also conducted comprehensive commercial evaluation of the product.

5. Sun Hot- Solar Water Heater
Its specially designed and manufactured pipes made of LDP(Low Density Polyethylene), UV treated, round and dull black surface which is fixed in zigzag shape in double line and area of length of 4 feet X width of 9 feet with the assistance of specially made pipe holder made of ABS material to connect the joints. The entire system is fully covered with 200gsm UV treated transparent sheet which is a solar absorber and heating of the fluid reaches to 72 degree during sunny days. The output of the pipe is connected to a storage tank or water can be instantly drawn from the SunHot system to the bucket.
TCF-MSRSAS is assisting the innovator in Licensing the Patent and has also conducted comprehensive commercial evaluation of the product.

6. Jet Nozzle Regulator
The object of this invention is to evolve a gas regulator kit that would restrict the flow of fuel thereby facilitating a typical 100cc bike under normal test driving condition to provide a mileage of at least 120 kilometers per kilogram of LPG. Inserting a regulator nozzle in a conventional gas conversion mechanism will ensure only required amount of LPG available in the engine cylinder for optimum fuel air combustion mixture thereby minimizing the waste of unburned LPG escaping along with the exhaust fumes.
