OUTLINE OF THE PROGRAMME
Doctoral Programme at MSRSAS:
- > MSRSAS is an Associated Institution of Coventry University-i.e., MSRSAS is an approved research institution of Coventry University.
- > MSRSAS started offering Doctoral programme with effect from April 2004.
- > Doctoral programme at MSRSAS leads to Ph.D. Degree of Coventry University, UK.
Routes and Programme Duration:
- > Full Time 3-5 years
- Full time: Candidates are required to work for their Ph.D. on Campus. They need to spend 40 hours a week on research.
- > Part Time 4-6 years
- Part time: Candidates can work for their Ph.D. at their work place (either in Bengaluru or any place within India). They need to spend 15 hours a week on research. It is preferable that the Scholar has a qualified supervisor/ advisor at his work place.
Eligibility:
Minimum of a second class masters degree in engineering from a good college/university.
Application Procedure:
Application Form in prescribed format and prospectus can be obtained from the School office on payment of application fee of Rs500/- by cash or DD favouring "M S Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies" payable at Bengaluru. If Application form has been downloaded from the Website, the completed application form must be accompanied with the application fee.
Selection:
Candidates will be selected on merit basis among the applicants. Merit will be decided based on previous scholastic record, research aptitude and interview marks.
Admission:
Selected candidates will be admitted after the payment of prescribed fees.
