M.Sc. [Engineering] in Electronic Systems Design Engineering
This course aims to prepare students for developing their careers in Electronic Systems Design Engineering. The course will give students capability to engineer electronic systems from a systems perspective, starting from modelling, simulation, design, testing, verification & validation of VLSI, Embedded, Communication, and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Systems. They are also taught the skills needed to manage systems development process and teams. Emphasis is placed on a Systems Engineering approach to electronics system design and development.
The M.Sc. [Engg] in Electronic Systems Design Engineering Course aims to:
- > Highlight the need for Systems Engineering approach to engineering electronic systems
- > Design, model, simulate and verify electronic subsystems
- > Develop subsystems, integrate, test and validate complex electronic systems
- > To identify opportunities for the application of new materials and processes
- > Appreciate the challenges involved in converting an electronic system into a product
- > Prepare delegates to face the challenges of managing electronic product development
