M.Sc. [Engineering] in VLSI System Design
This course aims to prepare delegates for developing their knowledge and skills in VLSI design methodology with a systems perspective in order to facilitate the use of computer-aided design tools for the analysis and design of special-purpose digital and analog circuits and systems. The course will give delegates capability to understand the requirements of EDA development, library design, analog and mixed signal design, semiconductor chip design, design and verification of ICs, FPGA development and SOC design. Analysis, design & implementation of integrated circuits using standard tools help the delegates to be industry ready. The educational experience enables the delegates to achieve an integrated understanding of the VLSI system requirements, design, simulation, analysis, hardware and software development, integration, testing and validation, presentation and documentation.
The M.Sc. (Engg) in VLSI system design course aims to:
- > Provide a through understanding of VLSI system design and analysis
- > Design and Implement VLSI systems using unified top-down and bottom-up design framework and analyze all levels of VLSI system design
- > Design, model, simulate and implement system on chip for communication, signal processing and control system applications
- > Use industry standard tools and adopt sign of design methodology for realizing complex VLSI systems
