M.Sc. [Engineering] in Rotating Machinery Design
This course aims to prepare students for developing their careers in Rotating Machinery Design. The course will give students capability to understand the requirements of Turbomachinery Industry, the basics of operation of turbomachines, a thorough analysis of turbomachines and the design concepts. The educational experience enables the participants to achieve an integrated understanding of the software usage and analysis in the area of turbomachines.
The M.Sc. (Engg) in Rotating Machinery Design Course aims to:
- > Provide a thorough understanding and applications of the basics and working principles of turbomachines.
- > Inculcate the technology involved in turbomachines.
- > Offer a unique opportunity for the student to apply state-of-art Computer Aided Engineering tools for design, modelling, simulation, analysis and optimisation of rotating machine systems.
- > Provide a thorough understanding and application of the concepts of design of turbomachines.
- > Develop skills for designing turbomachine components and turbomachines with the use of available software.
