Indicative contents

1. Simulate a MANET scenario in Qualnet and study the operation of AODV & ZRP routing protocol.
2. Understand the working of mobile IPv4 with help of simulation using Qualnet.
3. Write a ‘C’ program to implement CSMA/CA in a network with four stations.
4. Installation of a WLAN 802.11b network & study of its operation.
5. Write a ‘C’ program to implement Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) protocol for a given source node, destination node and intermediate nodes.
6. Simulate a WiMAX scenario (802.16, 802.16e) using Qualnet. Study the operation and performance by changing different parameters.
7. Implement the OFDM block using MATLAB.
8. Understand the Bluetooth PHY layer block and implement the same using “Simulink”.
9. Write a ‘C’ program to implement “Time Division Duplex (TDD)” communication between two stations (Master& Slave) for a given length of time slot.
10. Implement UWB channel modeling using MATLAB.
