Indicative contents

  1. Simulate a MANET scenario in Qualnet and study the operation of AODV & ZRP routing protocol.
  2. Understand the working of mobile IPv4 with help of simulation using Qualnet.
  3. Implement IPv6_CSMA in a network by using Qualnet.
  4. Implement Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) protocol for a given source node, destination node and intermediate nodes using Qualnet.
  5. Simulate a WiMAX scenario (802.16, 802.16e) using Qualnet. Study the operation and performance by changing different parameters.
  6. Implement the OFDM block using MATLAB.
  7. Understand the Bluetooth PHY layer block and implement the same using “Simulink”.
  8. Implement UWB channel modeling using MATLAB.
  9. Installation of a WLAN 802.11b/g network & study of its operation.
  10. Write a ‘C’ program to implement “Time Division Duplex (TDD)” communication between two stations (Master& Slave) for a given length of time slot.
