ACTP Advanced Networking Design
This course is designed with a motive of providing conceptual knowledge accompanied with hands on in various networking technologies to the candidates. The course provides you an understanding and knowledge about how information flows in wired, wireless and optical networks. It concentrates on giving you technical specifications and working of various protocols concerned with networking applications. Security is an integral part of data communication over the networks (wired or wireless) and candidates must know to develop and implement secure networks for data transfer. It is important to implement various networking and security protocols along with networking technologies, in practical to grasp their working. Keeping this in mind the candidates are first trained in “C” programming on Linux platform.

At the completion of this course candidates acquire hands-on experience in installing such networks with the help of router and switch configuration accompanied with the working knowledge of various protocols used for data communication in wired, wireless and optical networks with the help of simulation studies. Candidates acquire soft skills, which would help them in implementation of various protocols used to provide data communication and security in the networks.

The course aims at:

  • Developing programming skills of the candidates, which would prove useful for them in implementation of various concepts and protocols they study for providing data communication and security in networks.
  • Acquiring the knowledge about various concepts and protocols used for providing security in the network with help of their implementation.
  • Design, configuration, implementation and troubleshooting the networks using different technologies for data transfer over wired networks
  • Acquiring knowledge about latest protocols and standards used in wireless networks and understand their working with the help of installation and simulation.
  • Design, testing and verification of SONET and SDH networks.
