About

TIFAC (DST, Govt. of India), has launched programme called TREMAP (Technology Refinement and Marketing Planning) to help product innovators to commercialize their innovations through a number of TCFAs (Technology Commercialization Facilitation Agency). MSRSAS is one of the few institutions who has established a TCFA in June – 2009.

Objectives

• To drive the innovative products/prototypes towards the market
• To provide refinement of the innovative product which has high potential for commercialization
• To provide marketing support for technology transfer in the market

Activities

• Sourcing of technologies from innovators of technologies (Free Lancers, Rural folk, Students)
• Screening of invented technologies in various sectors like mechanical, chemical, agricultural, health etc.
• Selection of technologies in any of the above sectors which have potential for commercialization
• Identifying a suitable entrepreneurs for commercialization of selected technologies
• Review of selected technology innovations by MSRSAS- TCFA and entrepreneur and arrive at refinements required in prototypes
• Submission of innovations to TIFAC with the suggestions of possible refinements required in the prototype
• Evaluation & Approval of the proposal by TREMAP-TIFAC
• Financial support for refinement of technology projects by TIFAC
• Refinement of Technology projects by MSRSAS-TCFA
• Review of refined technology projects-TCFA , Entrepreneur and TIFAC
• IPR-Patent registration with innovator and other stake holders
• Transfer of Technology to the buyer of Technology
• Signing of agreement with terms and conditions
• Sharing of revenue received through transfer of technology among stake holders
