The School was established in the year 1999 with the main objective of offering industry relevant postgraduate engineering degree programme.
MSRSAS has grown over the years and at present there
are more than 160 members of staff. MSRSAS has 3 divisions, Academic,
Engineering Solutions and Technology Business and Administrative.
Academic division offers Academic Research leading to PhD degree,
Postgraduate Engineering Courses leading to M.Sc. [Engineering] degree,
Postgraduate Management Courses leading to MBA degree and Training and
Lifelong Learning Courses leading to Certificates. The degrees are
awarded by Coventry University of UK and Certificates for Training and
Lifelong Learning Courses are awarded by MSRSAS.
The School conducts research

time route. The course offered is customized to the requirement of
the industry and degree awarded will be MSc[Engineering] in
Technology and Engineering Management.
Development of
skills is important in addition to acquiring knowledge. The School
offers industry relevant training programmes. The various
training programmes of the school are

Advanced Certificate Training Programme (ACTP), training courses
of six months duration are offered for fresh engineering graduates
to make them industry ready.

Modular Training Programme (MTP), module specific training
programme offered at the convenience of the delegate.

Corporate Training Programme (CTP),
training is imparted to industry sponsored delegates as per the
sponsored industry requirement.
The various courses
that we offer under ACTP and MTP training programmes are: Automotive
Electronics, Applied Digital Signal Processing, Advanced Networking
Design, Digital Animation, Embedded System Design, M-CAD, Wireless and
Mobile Communications and VLSI-System Design.
The training
courses are conducted with sincerity and an emphasis on theory combined
with hands on experience. Students are encouraged to carry out their
projects in the industry. The students are trained on
industry standard tools like CATIA, PRO/E, IDEAS, Unigraphics,
ALIAS, ANSYS, NASTRAN, ABACUS, LS-DYNA, FLUENT, CFX, Ricardo, ADAMS, LMS-Motion,
LMS-Acoustics, PAM-family of software, ARENA, MATLAB, VX WORKS, EMBEDIX,
Rational Rose, LABVIEW, CADENCE, SYNOPSYS, EMPIRE-3D, MIMICS, ARM
PROCESSOR, TMS PROCESSOR, ADSP, Micro-controllers like 8051, Motorola,
etc. The students are provided with Lecture notes, Tutorials and other
related materials.
The facilities are open for students round the clock for 365 days.
The School gets all
its training and PG courses reviewed once in every year by a committee
of practicing engineers, academics and scientists, hailing from reputed
organizations.
HR, Placement and
Student Welfare division conducts professional Excellence Programme. It
imparts soft skills to all its students. It is compulsory that all the
students of MSRSAS need to undergo this programme. The School has
created a database of more than 500 industries and it is heartening to
say that the students of MSRSAS are well sought after by many hi-tech
industries.
The School has
excellent
infrastructure. And creating a World Class Campus at Peenya
Industrial area since we believe as engineering institute we must live
with industry atmosphere around us. The main strength of the School is
the faculty. WE HAVE WELL QUALIFIED EXPERIENCE FACULTY WITH US. The
in-house faculty members are well supported by the visiting faculty
members from overseas universities, industries and research
establishments, who deal with case studies. The School has a modern
library with a book section, audio-visual section and an Internet
section. The digital library has more than 1 TB data.
The School is
popular all over India for its
CPD programme, which is conducted for working engineers, students
and faculty from educational Institution. The CPD cell conducts seminar
once in two months, proficiency courses and corporate training courses
of 2-5 days duration.
The division of
Engineering Solutions and Technology Business provides Solutions to high
-end Engineering Problems in the broad areas of mechanical, industrial
and electronic Engineering
SAS TechnoSolutions. Recently TIFAC has created Technology
Commercialization and Facilitation Agency (TCFA) for us to identify
innovators and help commercialize their products. Once we move over to
our new campus, we will support small technology businesses, incubate
technology businesses on our campus. We would like act as technology
back bone to micro and small industries of Bangalore region. These
activities keep the staff upto to date, help them to present case
studies to students and enrich students experience on campus.
The School has
established a Product development and Innovation Centre (PIDC) whose aim
is indigenize the products or develop new products for commercialization
purpose.
School has
provided solutions to more than 250 engineering problems as of now and
attracted more than Rs. 5 crores of research grants and has established
a DST Funded TIFAC CORE in Digital Image Processing.

than 40 research articles per year, Half yearly SAS Tech Research
Journal, Annual Book of Student Project Abstracts, Quarterly News
Letter, Annual Ascent Magazine.
