This course aims to prepare students for developing their careers in Automotive Electronics. The course will give students capability to design modern embedded software and electronic hardware based products for automotive applications. Emphasis is placed on a creative and imaginative approach to automotive electronics system design.

The specific course aims are:

1. Understand the need for Electronics and Control in Modern Automotive Systems.
2. Understand and simulate vehicle dynamics for Control system application.
3. Develop Embedded Software for Control applications in automotive systems
4. Understand and implement various In-Vehicle networking and Vehicle Telematics for Automotive applications
