This course aims at providing knowledge and skills to delegates for adoption of advanced materials and processes with a competitive manufacturing perspective in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. Delegates will get a comprehensive dexterity to select materials and processing techniques for manufacturing aerospace, automotive and general engineering components.

The M.Sc. (Engg) in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies aims to:
1. Keep delegates updated with advances in engineering materials and manufacturing processes
2. Develop ability to analyse and select suitable manufacturing processes and process parameters
3. Develop ability to model and simulate casting, welding, forming and machining processes
4. Equip delegates to manage production operations, develop strategy for automation, apply metrology and quality control techniques for process control
