  • Forming and Shaping Processes: rolling, forging, extrusion, drawing, sheet-metal forming, processing of powder metals and ceramics, forming and shaping plastics and composites
  • Material Removal Processes: cutting tool materials and fluids, machining processes, abrasive machining, finishing processes and advanced machining processes
  • Joining Processes: solid-state welding, adhesive bonding and mechanical fastening processes
  • Use of computer-based material selection package (Cambridge Engineering Selector) to determine optimum material and manufacturing processes.
