    Revision of fluid mechanics, Boundary layers and wakes, Friction and pressure drag, Centre of pressure, Aerodynamic forces and moments, Vehicle stability, Streamline and bluff body dynamics, Fuel economy, Design features and their effect on aerodynamic performance, Scale model testing, Dimensional analysis, Wind tunnels for Vehicle aerodynamics, Instrumentation in wind tunnels, Assessment of model performance and Predictive techniques.
    Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics, Turbulence, FDM, Solving a Fluid dynamics problem using commercial software and FVM.
  • Thermal Management
    The engine cooling system: Engine water cooling and oil cooling, mechanism of drag production by the cooling system, cooling requirements, design of an efficient low drag cooling system, unducted radiators, ducted radiators, lift increment due to cooling flow, differences between domestic car engine cooling system and Racing car water and oil cooling system design.
